Is there a way to remove the crankshaft pulley spacer/hub wihtout pulling the timing cover or using special tool svo2440?

I'm replacing the stamped pulley on my b18 with a cast dual groove pulley so that I can install an air conditioner. The cast pulley does not require the hub spacer that is used with the stamped pulley.
