The front seat lumbar plastic bracket affair broke, a common occurrence as you know. The rectangular plastic base for the plastic bolt was split beyond repair so the FAQ, could only get me part way to a fix. I constructed a rectangular base out of aluminum. Seems to work well. I took some pics and wrote up a description at http://www.nuceng.ca/bill/volvo/lumbar/lumbar.html in case any of you might find it useful.

Once again, the FAQ was invaluable.
