Today I was in a minor accident and although the car appears virtually unharmed, unfortunately both of the airbags deployed. Nobody was injured, and I was able to drive home fine.

Now I'm considering my options. I was hoping somebody here could explain to me what is involved with replacing some parts.

In addition to the airbags, which I rolled back up for the time being, the windshield is damaged and needs to be replaced, and the passenger seatbelt (seat was vacant) is stuck at the tightest setting from the pretensioner. The driver's seatbelt doesn't seem to be affected (though I believe that both of the pyrotechnic tensioners detonate in the event of airbag deployment.)

The car is in totally functional condition otherwise, and I've put a lot of energy into upkeep, so I was hoping to continue driving until I replace it, possibly in the next year. I do not think it will make $$ sense to replace the airbags, so I was just going to remove them and drive as is.

But what do I need to do about the seat belts? Does the passenger seatbelt need to be completely replaced, or can it be reset? And does the driver's seatbelt, which appears to operate fine, need to be replaced too? To replace the seat belts will I need to consult an ABS repair manual, or is the procedure simple? What am I looking at in terms of cost for parts (assuming I do the repair myself)?
