Ball joints spin with nuts - non Volvo 700

Hey everybody.


I just about finished changing my friend's clutch on his 92 Honda accord. Ugh, what a horrible car and so many unnecessary problems with the project.

Anyway. It's all done, except the ball joints (the studs) are rotating with the nuts. Anybody know of a way to stop the threads from spinning like that? I really need to torque them down- I can't even get them halfway up the studs.
