Water leak 900 1993

I am having trouble finding the source of a water leak. It might be
coming from the drivers side behind the steering to the Floor
continuing toward the rear floor. What is a cowl?
Where is the drain hole ? Where is the footwell drain? I removed
Panel with the vent. I removed the carpet too.
