In dash big tach died 88 240 5 speed. 200

Removed big clock 10 years ago and installed big tach in its place. Seems to have died yesterday though. Just the Tach bad or might it be a sign of cluster failure looming? Bad solder joints somwehere? Before I go in if its just a bad tach want to have a replacement on hand.
