tow bar for 240? cannot do it myself 200 1983

AARGH!! (however that would be pronounced...)

I need to tow my old standard-shift Volvo short distances behind my RV. Did a search on this forum, and all I found was how people did it themselves. I'm not in a situation where I can do any mechanickin' at all right now, and I need to take off pretty soon.

Found one place that *might* do it, but it's pretty far away for such a questionable trip. All he said was that he hasn't seen a 240 for ten years, and he'd have to look at it to see if it was something he wanted to do...

Y'all make it sound like it's a simple thing, if you have access to a few tools. Seems like this shouldn't be such a big deal!

I really have no idea what a tow bar is even supposed to look like. Is there anything I could order online, that would fit the 240, and I could take it to some shop, and they'd know what to do with it?

And what would be a reasonable price, anyway? I have no idea if it should be $100 or $1000.

Joy
