Hi! I'm finally offering an update on the 1992 940 Turbo wagon, but I've also got a possible 1995 960 wagon to consider.

THE 1992 940 TURBO WAGON: The exterior and interior were in really nice shape. There is a leak in the exhaust manifold, so it was hard to hear the engine run without the noise interference. It started fine, drove fine, and shifted fine (auto transmission). It did pull a bit to the right, but then I saw that the back rear tire was low on air, which could have caused the pulling. The sunroof would go up, but it wouldn't retract; a hinge is damaged on the one side. The temp gauge went above the halfway mark, but then I saw that the coolant level was a little low. The speedometer jumps. Tires would need to be replaced. It's got 133,000 miles and is a one-owner car, but a small local dealer has it now that was bought at auction. I know no history of this car. Asking price: $1600

THE 1995 960 WAGON: I've only seen this on Craigslist, and it's about 3 hours from where I live. The man listed it but then noticed it had a power steering leak, so he had that fixed and just let me know that today. I have my fears about the 960s, only because I owned a 1996 960 sedan for about 12 years. It was a wonderful car to drive, but it did have a lot of mechanical issues. This car looks lovely in the pictures that were posted. It is with its fourth owner: 1st had it for 8 years/7 months; 2nd had it for 3 years/1 month; 3rd had it for 1 year/4 months; and the current owner has had it for 4 years/9 months. Nothing has major has gone wrong with it since he's owned it. Could these cars be hit or miss mechanically? Maybe mine was just not quite up to par? Pretty much belts and hoses. It has 166,000 miles. Asking price: $2400
