when you swap an ECU 951 into an earlier car with a cold start injector 200

i ask because the wiring diagrams on 1990, 1991 clearly show the cold start injectors connects at pin 32 on the ecu while the other cold start injector wire connects into the fuel injector bundle.

on a 1993 car with the 951 there is no cold start injector and pin 32 is unused.

on a 1992 car pin 32 has the idle air control valve connected.

therefore is it same to presume the cold start injector ceases to function when a 951 ecu is installed in a pre 1993 car?
