Repairing play in my M47 shifter 200

My shifter has excessive left-to-right play. There's no unusual play front-to-back, so I can still get it in and out of gear OK. My understanding is that the play I have is caused by wear on the two pins that attach the shifter to the transmission, part number 381528. Is that correct?

If I buy two replacement pins and install them will I have fixed the play, or might I need to replace more of the parts in that coupler?

Is this a fix that I can do with the transmission in the car?
