12 volt wiper moter 444-544

I'm sure that this has been covered in the past but can't recall the answer. What 12 vole wiper moter can be adapted to the 544? i have a 6 v0lt now with a resister that doesn't do much to reduce the voltage and as a result, the blades about fly off the car here in the wet winters of washington. thanks paul
