240 driver's seat - moving it back a bit 200

When my Uncle tries to drive my 1988 240DL Wagon, he needs a little more room. Even with the seat slid all the way back, he doesn't really have room for his formidable belly. 8-) I tried leaning the seat back more, but it's really room at the bottom of the steering wheel that he needs, and tilt doesn't help.

Any suggestions? Some kind of extensions on the slides?
