Having not to work on the old Volvo for a while , I came across a few lost tricks for freeing up ac compressor

Although you can access hidden 13 mm bolt on backside of unit it is easier to take out amm to achieve slackness


I used a new cheap 38.00 harmonic balancer from ebay will post back with longevity of product.

Crank pulley holder purchased from ipd years ago worked on this balancer.
