Hi, I am having a bit of difficulty with my 544 B16b regarding the water temp gauge. I am in the process of lifting the cylinder head But can't do so because the temp' sender unit refuses to part company from the head. I have tried using plus gas on it but can't really get it to run in with the head still on the block. Is it possible to disconnect the lead from the gauge itself or is is it fixed permanently?
