Both parking lights on the right side are not lighting.

If I measure the voltage at the connector to that taillight the parking light lead measures 7.5v to 10v. I realize that is low but have no explanation for the varying voltage. It will vary over a few minutes time.

When I remove the bulb holders on the two parking lights and put the connector in place I get the same voltage variation on the printed circuit board 7.5v - 10v.

If I install one or both of the bulbs and check the circuit board the voltage has dropped to zero. If I connect a test light to the circuit board it will not light.

The ground is good and measuring the voltage from the brake light contact on the circuit board to the ground screw shows 11+v.

The leads out of the fuse box (cleaned fuse) to the right parking show 11+volts.

So it would appear that the voltage drop is occurring between the fuse box and the connector in the trunk.

Any suggestions on what I should do to find the reason for the voltage drop? Is there a connector somewhere between the fuse box and the trunk that might be showing its age and corrosion is responsible for the voltage drop?

Perhaps I should just run a separate wire from the fuse box to the trunk and splice into the harness there?
