Hi All,
Going through the recently acquired 544, one nagging issue is a completely frozen / rusted up Heater Control Valve.
Not too long ago I replaced the valve on my 122 (which I understand is the same part.) It was expensive, and the replacement valve didn't seem to do a whole lot to regulate how much heat comes into the cabin. It's either there or it isn't.
For as much money as a new replacement valve costs, I wanted to find out if there is a cheaper alternative that might work better.
