Was replacing the thermostat on a car I just bought, as during my 30 min drive home the gauge hovered way below warm, and saw this as I removed the broken in half thermostat. Am I mistaken or is this very, very bad? I've already spent hours and a lot of money with the purchase of car and tons of parts to make it my winter driver so I hope I'm not screwed.
