Best Place for 200W Magnetic Heater? 900

My daughter has a 1994 940 with a B230 engine. It has been very cold here in MN. Where would the best place to put a 200 watt magnetic heater (magnet holds it on ferrous metal)? Would the oil pan or the side of the cast iron block be best?

Another daughter has a heater inline with the lower radiator hose on her 740 and that really works great. 1/2 hour will warm the engine up enough to start the engine regardless of the temp. outside so I am thinking somewhere on the block would be best for the magnetic heater where the water jacket holds the most water since water transfers heat well.

I don't want to put a radiator hose heater on if the magnetic heater works well.

Best place?
