Hi,
When I try to accelerate any more than very gently, the engine hesitates and loses power. The idle is smooth and steady. When I accelerate gently the engine will rev to all rpms normally. It's just when I hit the gas the power falls off abruptly. If I keep my foot in it, the car begins to misfire/backfire. What could it be?
