1993 volvo 940 NA - fuse 5 blows instantly 900

this one is new with no warning.
chiming relay continuously operates until i remove it
fuse 5 blow immediately

ie: no clock, courtesy lights, radio

in an effort to save some circuit diagnosing time does anyone have the most likely probabilities for the cause of this failure?

i removed the blue chime relay until i figure this one out.
according to the wiring diagram no harm appears to be caused by this action.

if there is a problem driving the car with relay removed please let me know.
