Hi guys, I was at my parents' house this weekend and i decided to resurrect my 240 after a long dead winter. Well it's running strong now but i noticed that their 2001 trooper that i was planning to use as a booster for a jumpstart is no longer starting.

Battery is good, engine cranks, and it fires up if i spray starting fluid. Then the engine stays on for 10 seconds during which time i can use the gas pedal to deliver more fuel and rev the engine. But then it shuts off. Why?
