Hello all. Im nearly done with a restore ob on my 88 245dl. I have tried 2 tachos now that are supposedly in good working order with out luck. I have tested the red/white wire for power. It has been suggested that I may have the wrong tach
and have seen that there are 2 that will fit my cluster. They both have the 3 prongs for clock wire harness but one has a single prong at the bottom and the other has two. both the ones I have tried were single prong. any ideas? thanx
