Our second 16 year-old is learning to drive on our one owner 91 240. So I am sitting in the passenger seat while she drives, and get a thimble full of cold water on my foot. Reached up under the dash, and the aluminum a/c line was extremely cold with condensation on the outside of it.
Had the A/C repaired and retrofit with R134a last summer. The mechanic had to replace one of the lines that goes through the firewall from under the dash. Should they be wrapped with something? Is the condensation supposed to drain somewhere?
The A/C is working great FWIW. Thanks!
