Striking out here in the use of the Interweb for getting volvo part numbers I guess. But does anybody know if hood latch pins (the part with a spring around it that goes down in the striker plate and locks the hood closed) are the same between 93 240 and 92 740? Even though the 7/9 series uses 2 pins and the 240 but one they sure look the same to me. My 240 spring has popped - the retaining washer at the end of the pin seems to have disappeared but at the PnP today I could only find 740's . Thanks for any ideas. I think my problem in lookup is that they only sell the OEM parts for the 240 as "latch assembly" which has the swiveling catch and the pin.
