94 945T battery drain 900

Odd battery drain situation.
Not sure if everything is related but will mention all I remember.
I mistakenly left the ign key in the KI position overnight after I had put up the windows with an approaching T-storm.
The next morning, the battery was dead.
I recharged it after kicking myself.
Stopped at a gas station and noticed the headlights were on even though the key was OFF (I run the car with headlights ON most of the time).
Car restarted and I went to work after turning the headlight OFF.
Checked as I left the car and the headlights were OFF.
3-4 hours later, I went to go to lunch and the battery was dead again.
Could it be the ign switch?
Haven't had a chance to check the current drain yet but expect it will show abnormal drain with key in the OFF position.
I remember reading something on the board awhile back about an ign switch problem related to the 940.
