hi sages- my 92 245 has 233k , runs fine, starts fast and gets 28mpg. yesterday the check engine light came on and has stayed one. this car has the obd 1 system. do not have a lot of faith in these systems. i have seen too many false positives for them and shyster scams to replace a lot of unnecessary parts$$$. in any event could you sages give me a step by step to check the cause on the system and turn the light off. am told most of the time it is a bad 02 sensor which i think is wrenched into the exhaust pipe. appreciate your advice. regards oldduke
