Are there the same issues with mismatched rebuilt ABS from calipers as there is with the non-ABS ones?

Doesn't appear to be dimples on the ABS rebuild I just got from O'Reilly's? I ordered it last night and it arrived at noon today.

How far do you need to depress the brake pedal to prevent leakage of brake fluid while it is disconnected?
Does the bleeder valve need to be opened when doing this?
