OK, I, with much difficulty, removed and replaced the external fuel pump and filter on my '88 240 DL.
How the heck do I get the plastic fuel line that runs to the engine onto the barbed filter tube or should I use some copper tubing and clamps to splice some pieces together?
And do I have to somehow prime or fill the black tube that runs from the tank to the pump? It's dry as a fart even though the tank is full. thanks
