10 minute back up light fix 200

Having rehabilitated the back up light switch as per Art's fine tutorial no more than 18 months ago on my 1993 244 Classic, I was perturbed to find the reverse lights not working again - and of course just in time for my annual inspection. Before I tore into the shifter assembly again, I figured I'd check the taillight connections. Sure enough, corrosion had compromised the circuit board contacts at the taillights. A quick spray with De-Oxit, and they're working again. I originally picked up the De-Oxit for use on my stereo system, but I've found it indispensable as a contact cleaner on my bricks. Highly recommended to all. Now to locate the water leak in the trunk...
