My 69 with a newer engine started smoking. I took the engine apart and found broken top rings and two damaged pistons (it overheated - my son did it - I swear). I had no idea there were two different wrist pin sizes so I bought 2 B20 pistons which, now that the engine is out and apart, I discovered have smaller wrist pins.
Is there anything I can do other than buying two more pistons? By any chance are there larger connecting rod bushings and are the new and old pistons the same weight?
I didn't notice that pistons were sold as new or old. Did I just overlook it?
