740/940 Instrument Light LED Retrofit 900

These parts cost about a dollar and will last much, much longer than the OEM bulb assemblies. LEDs are diodes so if it doesn't light you may have to insert it the other way (turn 180 degrees). I have done the retrofit on many of the bulb holders. On this one, I had to drill a small hole for the leads on each side but you don't need to on most of the others similar to this one:
