Brake Pedal Squeak: 1987 Volvo 245 GL

When depressing the brake pedal in our 1987 Volvo 245 GL, we hear a squeaking sound. We are not sure if it might be the bushing in the brake pedal lever assembly possibly in need of oil or possibly the brake booster diaphragm. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated... We have not seen any affect on braking.
