I found a guy willing to rebuild heater valve. I got a bunch done for several of us (to get a bit of a discount). I have listed an extra one up on ebay. This is the rarer, 444 (445) and early 544 one. (This is the one with out a capillary tube).

These have not been available new for decades and most other ones are rusted away to nothing....
