240 Volvo Classic 200 1989

I didn’t get time to discuss in detail this "other" brick but here it is; our wagon is an “89 DL, the “other” one our mechanic has is newer Im sure. Nice seats and headliner. The thing gets me the most are the wheels. He said they are fairly rare, nice looking sort of like a “criss-cross pattern wire wheels (NOT hubcaps!) and Volvo only supplied a relative few-maybe 1500-2000 or so? I was in a hurry so I didn’t catch clearly all that he said. They would sure look nice on our ‘89. Oh the emblem on the back hatch, if I recall correctly, says 240 CLASSIC. I never heard of a “Volvo Classic“--Anyone?

BTW that Volvo all in all looks pretty good, nice body, paint fair+,interior not bad at all.
