Ok so I'm having a somewhat intermittent issue with my '90 245.

It all started on my two hour tip back home from my parents.

I stopped at a store, started it, then it stalled out and wouldnt restart until I sat for a few minutes then tried again.

Near home I stopped to pick up some parts from a 240 being parted out. When I left, a few minutes down the road it embarrassingly stalled out and an intersection. A few more minutes and it restarted and I took off with a good amount of atypical belt squeal. I had just gotten on the highway a few minutes after this and the gas pedal lost all effectiveness but it didnt stall out right away, it ran at nearly an idle until I slowed down to the side of the road where it stalled out just before coming to a stop.

Well, same old story, after a few minute wait (maybe even one minute), it started and got me through the 20 minute ride home.

The next day (yesterday), I had to go back to the same place but with a sawzaw to free the struts from the tie-rods. It ran fine with no issues all the way there but after stopping at the ATM close by, I came back out and it was a no-start. Same as before, I gave it a few and it came to life only to stall out right before the intersection across from the driveway I needed to get to.

Got the strut assemblies and got nearly half way home with no problems until the same thing happened when I was on the highway before. The gas pedal lost nearly all response and I coasted to the side of the road where it died. Waited a few minutes and it came back and got me home. When I pulled into the stop, I shut it off and tried to restart. It started but dropped rpm and shook pretty violently and stalled out, no start after that.

So thats the complete saga and brings me to today. Luckily I walk 3 minutes to work.

What do you guys think could be causing this? I've changed the plugs and wires recently, along with the fuel pump, filter and the line all the way to the fuel rail. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator? Coil?
