Odometer and trip do not work after installing instrument panel 200 1990

I had to replace the brake light switch so I took out the instrument panel for access.. After I reinstalled the panel the speedometer works but, the odometers do not.. I took the panel out and looked at the 25 tooth gear and there does not seem to be any damage.. Is the source of power for the speedometer the same for the odometers? Any works of wisdom?
