Still leaking oil from the cap ('88 245) 200 1988

Hey all -

looking for suggestions - i've still got a leak at the oil cap...

changed/new:
Oil Separator
Tube to oil pan for said separator
All hoses in flame trap/separator
All vacuum hoses
flame trap
new oil cap seal
oil pan,=(!)

only leak i have now seems to be from the (NEW) oil cap seal. I took the seal OFF of the NEW oil cap and put it on the old oil cap with NEW seal b/c the new oil cap/seal seemed to fit really loose...

suggestions?
