Duct/evaporator cleaning 900

The volume of air coming from the vents is lower than normal. There is always a lot of leaves around the sub windshield air intakes.
I would like to clean the evaporator. There is a procedure on alldatadiy, basically you go in through the glove box.
Is there a way to remove the grills under the windshield and claen out the ducts?
The cowl may unscrew and slide out after removing the wiper arms. Not sure.
