the old vibrating or shuddering driveshaft trick 92 245 200

his sages- havent communicated a problem lately. my 92 245 with 5 speed manual has developed a very occassional shudder or vibration when i let the clutch out in 1st or reverse. it doesnt happen very often , only after i have been driving for a while and the car is hot. although the clutch and trans work fine , i initially thought it was clutch chatter, but have seen that before in american tanks and it has always been continuous. got under the car and suspected the ujoints of which there are two plus a rubber disk connection at the end of the transmission. these 3 parts are good andtight no sideways movement when pulled. think those three parts are ok. there is also a part i havent seen on rwd american cars. looked it up in the bentley and it is called the center driveshaft support bearing. it is a bearing which sits in a large rubber grommet in the cross frame support . it moves up and down when tugged and a little side to side. suspect this is the problem. problem is im not sure how much movement this part is supposed to allow. if no movement is allowed as in the spider ujoints then i guess it is the bad guy. if one of you has done this job please advise . also is this a common part available at a placelike autozone. volvo is the only car ive seen that has this. should i expect to pay fat dollars like at a dealer? thanks tons oldduke
