Removing Front Bumper 200 1992

Well, I've tried every way possible to avoid having to remove the bumper so I can reattach the trim that goes on top of it. Fool's errand. I have been defeated and will just remove the bumper and do it right. The question is how? I see that I'll need to remove the two bolts that secure each of the bumper shocks to the frame. Will the whole assembly (bumper and shocks) just slide forward and out? Or are there fasteners that secure the bumper 'wings' to the side of the car, below the turn signals? Appreciate any help from those who've done it.
