All,
strange one - hoping someone else might have experienced or solved it. Been chasing a sporadic leak of something for a couple of months - which car and what part of car. Tracked to the brake line junction in the rear of the 240 just above the drivers side axle near the differential. Every once in a while about a tablespoon of brake fluid leaks out after the car is stopped. I've been adding brake fluid - not knowing where it was going and now I've put it together (duhh). I'll get up close and personal with it this weekend but could it be seaping out of the threads or maybe between the tubing and the nut. Anybody encounter this? And what would be a good approach other than disassembly, clean threads and re-torque it up? The pedal is strangely firm and the brakes seem to work fine so don't know why air is not getting in.
