When Do We Consider Replacing the Hard High Pressure Black Nylon Fuel Lines? And the Low Pressure Rubber Return Lines?

I was at the yunkyard some weeks or a month ago.

Some VWs have clear hard nylon high pressure lines. As brittle as you please.

For either the K-Jet and the LH-Jet and later, when do we consider replacing the host of these hard nylon fuel lines?

Or are these made of some materials that means we need not worry.

In the stupid era of stupid subsidized ethanol from stupid subsidized corn.

What of the rubber return lines?

The section of high pressure fuel line between the fuel rail and the FPR on some later LH-Jet systems.

The low pressure return lines to return fuel to the fuel tank?

Someplace we can get the high pressure lines premade? Tasca? (I'd not yet looked.)

Just wondering.

Thank you, folks.
