Washer Jets 700 1990

1990 740 Base - B230F, AW70, Bosch LH-2.4

My washer jets seem to have been installed backwards. Not a real problem, just sort of amusing since a dealership did it in 1999. ;-)

The fluid rather gushes out, the stream very short and thick. They do not "spray" at all like what I am used to seeing. It reminds me of a set of four tiny water fountains. Even with the wind at Interstate speeds it only reaches up to just below the middle of the windshield, and because they are installed reversed they spray to the center.

It seems like these are missing some sort of inner metal sleeve that shoots the fluid out under greater pressure. I have never seen this on any other vehicle. I have seen properly working 940 washers. I cannot imagine that mine are supposed to work this poorly...

These are cheap. Even Genuine Volvo is cheap enough, but I cannot locate the proper parts. I can get other years and models, or I can get aftermarket (usually saddled with bad reviews).

Does anyone know the actual two GV part numbers and possibly an online source?

So far today:
Tasca - no
eEuroparts - no
FCPEuro - no
iPd - no

Any help here? Thank you!
