Main intake tube - two hose connections: What are they supposed to connect to? 200

[This is a repost - I posted to the general RWD forum and got no responses, so I figured maybe I was getting overlooked so I am reposting to the 200 forum]


My main intake tube going from the AMM to the throttle body has 2 connections for smaller (1/2" or so) hoses. The one toward the front of the car goes to the idle air valve. The one toward the back of the car is connected to nothing at all.

What is it supposed to connect to?

In this picture I see a hose (right side of TB) that looks like it would be the one...
