Throttle cable replacement 200 1985

My new to me '85 245 has a severe fraying issue 1/2" where it comes out of the hard cased sleeve and before it goes to the spool. I want to replace it before I put it out on the road. The cables don't look too expensive, but don't see anywhere that has info on replacing it. Thanks for any direction.
