73 ES OD leak 1800

I have oil dripping down side of the od adapter on the side where the air bleed is located . no oil on the other side of the adapter. Does not look like a gasket leak. It looks like the fluid is actually coming out of the small air bleed at the top of the OD adapter and dripping down the side of the flange. Any reason fluid would be able to find it's way out this bleed? The bleed is not broken and seems functional. I had just replaced the fluid using the recommended 30w. Leak was not evident before the oil change.
