I've just finished the passenger side installation, as you can see it's snowing.. I'll have to get back to it tomorrow.
I Haven't decided what to do about the bezels, but we'll get to that after they're both lit up..
If you're interested to do this on your car, it's super simple.
7" headlight buckets from something old at the junk yard. I Grabbed these from an old t-bird.
As I could not find any inexpensive universal -inner- buckets, i went perusing the home depot and found these Toilet spacers... Perfect for an inner bucket.
I pulled out the stock bucket, Cut a piece of sheet metal to fit snugly and flat against the headlight support bracket, and ran in about 10 self-drilling screws.
Next trace out the inner hole of the toilet flange, and decide on the position...
Cut out the hole, then screw the flange on.
Drill two holes in the metal for headlight adjuster screw clips, pop those in,
a tiny hole to hook the spring into..
And uh.. Wire it up.
Pretty snazzy.
I forgot to mention, I did not cut or mangle any part of the vehicle, and the standard housing can go back on at any time.
