Hi everyone,
I am baffled as to why my 244 started fine, then 1 hour later went out to start and nothing. It will crank all day but wont finish and run. I have been working on this for a few days now and cant fix the situation. I have done numerous things to pin point it: Battery has been replaced, ECU swapped out, jumped fuses 4 and 6 to check pumps, checked fuel pressure, checked injector 1 with noid light and its blinking rapidly, checked plug 1 against block for spark, pulled vac line off FPR - dry, and checked blade fuse. All seem to be operational. Got the car to start yesterday after cleaning all 4 plugs with blow torch and emptying cylinders of fuel. It ran, sounding like it was missing, smoothed out for a few seconds, started missing again and eventually stalled out. Checked the plugs... Soaking wet again. I cant think of anything else to do. A friend of mine is coming over tomorrow to verify timing of spark to noid light on injector. my question is, can the spark at the plugs be to weak to fully ignite the fuel so its pooling up. At this point I have so much fuel in the system its in the block, intake line, everywhere it could possibly go.
