Vibration issues - 940 turbo 900 1994

The wife's '94 940 has 424K on it. She is shooting for 500 (still).

It has developed a vibration at idle; with a drone and varying vibration through acceleration and especially over 65. It never seems to be exactly the same.

I have read the FAQ's and it definitly looks like driveline or exhaust, so I will work on that angle.

Still I would like a yes or no to a couple of questions I did not see mentioned.
1.Does the AW70 series have a torgue converter? At idle it almost feels like a bad converter I have experienced in other cars?
2. It has the original turbo. Could this be a source of vibration. I find no real play in the shaft and it seems ot be working as should; gauge looks good; pull is strong.

Points.
New motor and trans mounts (German aftermarket through FCPG).
Bearing in center hanger slightly lower than center.
Oil leak that needs repair may have affected torgue rod bushings at rear axle.

Thanks for any help or opinion ...or just affirmation I am on the right track. This car is starting to add up in the cost of repair. :)
