stalling and hesitating 1991 940 Turbo 900 1991

I just bought a 1991 940 Turbo in great condition re: power locks, chairs, sunroof, heated seats, etc. Unfortunately, it has begun to stall when I slow down to turn and sometime when I am idling or if I take my foot off the gas to shift gears. (it is automatic) It is also hesitating sometimes when I accelerate which gives it a jerky feeling. Please help! I love this car.
